What's the craziest thing that happens in your hometown?

Most definitely is myself. The day changes for anyone who sees me when I venture forth. I don't always feel like mingling with the public ~ it is not that I don't love you but it reminds me that I am just as vulnerable as you whereas here at home I am master of my domain. Much love, Qt xox

BELIEF

Good day to you :)

If people are FAMOUS it seems that we are very interested in their belief systems as that is what supposedly got them there in the first place. This is a fundamentally flawed approach. I'll tell you for why. Their belief system is not what got them famous; it was something else. Talent, energy, drive, money or a combination of all of these elements most probably got them where they wanted to be. They were so fired up about their project they didn't even notice the money, time and effort they poured into it. That is what we refer to as "THE JOURNEY". Ask anyone who has MADE IT and they'll tell you it's the journey they look back on with sincere affection and not their destination.

Why? YOU'RE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST PROJECT. True yes? I mean, who goes back 5 years (unless you're the person yourself) to see what they were doing then? The argument is two-fold because I guess if you do develop an enjoyment of somebody's blog or video then you're inclined to go back and see where they started, just out of interest. But that would be a long time after you'd discovered them.

I picked up a Reader's Digest publication the other day while I was waiting for my Chiropractor. It gave a list of 100 most trusted people. Dr Teo was No1. I guess that's good. It got more and more silly towards the end of the list however. I began to get scared at the types of people we choose to listen to and the things they have done to get famous. Do you really think plastic surgery, bigger breasts, an intimate association with the casting couch and a love of wild abandonment and all things sinful should be the types of figureheads that have clout in today's society? And if we give those people the clout and the money then we can presume there will be more of the same? Not just picking on women either. It seems that if you can SPEAK and MASTURBATE these days you have yourself an AUDIENCE? Oh boy the skills acquired by the younger generations have indeed COME a long way, if you get my drift?

So what do we truly BELIEVE in and where will it take us in the future? I look forward to finding out from all of you.

Much love,
Qt Ellis :)
